Gypsy - Testimonials

I had the privilege of trying out the new full-rockered Icelantic Gypsy for 18 great ski days late March and early April 2011. "The Walrus" (as I lovingly refer to them) is Icelantic's dark-horse into the powder-rocker ski competition on the mountain, and out of the gate, she's a runner! I have Marker Griffon Schizos mounted on a pair of 180's, and have tried them far to the rear in some deep pow at Arapahoe Basin, in the middle in deep pow and groomers at Breck (off Whale's Tail and through the Peak 7 and Peak 10 trees), and almost to the front for a straight-corduroy-day at Vail. Of course I'm going to rave about the deep-snow-acumen of this ski, but it was also surprisingly nimble and responsive on the groomers! The 22-meter-radius sidecut seems to be just the ticket so I don't have to work too hard to look cool ripping out of the woods onto the rollers!
And the perennially gorgeous topsheet is again what puts Icelantic over-the-top in the ski world and makes their skis such a great value: quality workmanship, innovative & intelligent design, stunning conversation-piece graphics, and the immediate inclusion into the top-secret cool club... Icelantic is the Secret Handshake in Skiing!
