Frequently Asked Questions

Are your skis for Alpine or Tele?

Yes and Yes.  Our skis are made for an alpine set-up, telemark or alpine touring.  Whatever floats your boat, our skis can handle it!

Where do I mount bindings on the skis?

Each ski is engraved with the mounting location.  For alpine bindings, the dash by the “BC” mark denotes the Boot Center.    On the Da’Nollie, the “CC” dash is for Chord Center; this ski is center-mounted for park skiing galore!
For Tele binding, use the following chart:
        Tele – 3 Pin Line
        A – Boot Size 29.0 and over
        B – Boot Size 26.0 – 28.5
        C – Boot Size 25.5 and under

What bindings do you recommend?

Any of the major binding manufacturers work great with our skis.  We recommend the Marker or Look bindings for alpine.  For tele, we recommend either HammerHead or G3.

Are there any special instructions for waxing or tuning the skis?

The skis come out of the factory with a 2-degree bevel on the side edge and a 1-degree bevel on the bases. We recommend keeping this for future tunes.

What ski is for me?

We have skis for every type of skier and every type of skiing. When browsing through the skis on our website, check out the “This ski is for you IF:” section. That should help!

Do you have a size chart?

    Under 5’ – below 150
    5’  to 5’ 4” – 150 to 160
    5’ 4” to 5’ 6” – 160 to 168
    5’ 6” to 5’ 8” – 168 to 173
    5’ 8” to 6’  -  173 to 179
    6’ or higher – 179 +

What is the core of the ski?

Each ski is made with a Poplar wood core. The Oracle is made with our special “Fly Weight” core, which is just a lighter wood.

Where are your skis made?
