#2legsis2easy! Self professed pirate of the Roaring Fork Valley. Steve Karczewski has been playing in the mountains of Colorado since 2007 when he left the east coast for the opportunity to train with the Paralympic Ski Development Team. Steve lost his left leg above the knee to cancer as a child and hasnt looked back since! Always active and into sports, Steve was driven by family and friends as a child and found peace and passion in the outdoors. Most winter days you can find this "pirate" rushing past you on his one ski, racing to get back to the lift for another run, try and keep up. Or on his mountain bike cruising the incredible trails in his backyard of Aspen/Snowmass. His motto of "2 Legs is 2 Easy!" speaks to everyone who lives this outdoor life. You are only held back by the restrictions you put on yourself. So get out there and enjoy this beautiful life!

Steve was a member of the ROMP Elite Climbing Team (2018) and summited 19,347ft Volcan Cotopaxi in Ecuador along with 11 other amputees.

ROMP is an organization that provides high quality prosthetic care in inderserved populations. The 2018 Elite team Steve was a part of raised $100,000 for doctors in these areas. Helping people gain back their mobility and human potential.
